Tom Walsh/IJM

Rudy (Urban Onramps) alerted us in a post to Tom Walsh, the guy who won seven Jeporady games - the most ever, and got involved with International Justice Mission. Tom has a weblog (Critical Condition) about his experiences.

Adam and his camera

Adam Cleaveland is another 'daily read' weblog. His entry yesterday is pretty funny, and also reason why a weblogger should also be a fotoblogger - and always pack a digital camera.

Joel Blain/Jeremy Hall

Joel Blain lives in Tulsa, OK. His weblog is a daily "don't miss" for me. I first discovered Joel's fotoblog and have since started to read his regular blog. He's put up a MovableType weblog for his friend, Jeremy Hall, who is in infantry basic training with the U. S. Army. Since Jeremy doesn't have access to the internet, he sends snail mail letters to Joel, and Joel retypes the letter into a blog posting.

It's very cool that Joel is doing this. And it's good of Jeremy to share his story.

What's this all about?

Thanks to The King for setting up my MovableType site.

I will use this blog as an experiment with MovableType and a place to discuss the weblog/blog phenomenon, culture and things that matter. By the way, I welcome your comments, suggestions and recommendations.

For my more general and better-developed blog, please go to roland.blogs.com - my TypePad blog.

Come along and enjoy the ride.
